We all experience anxiety over important events or uncertain situations. But for people with anxiety disorder, even everyday life can be fraught with anxiety. Anxiety causes feelings of worry, fear, and irritation. Anxiety can cause a rapid pulse and erratic heart rate, goose bumps, nausea and vomiting, abdominal cramping and pain, flashbacks, and nightmares. For people who suffer from anxiety disorder, the constant anxiety over the unknown and even the known can be debilitating.
There are a variety of treatments for anxiety, though while treatments help manage the worst of the symptoms, they rarely cure. Treatments include therapy, exercise, and medication to help prevent anxiety as well as minimize acute attacks of panic. But there is another option worth considering – magnetic therapy.
Magnet therapy may be able to help with depression, and it may also be able to help with anxiety, which is often closely connected to depression. For children especially, the use of a magnetic bracelet or necklace may not only provide magnetic-induced oxygen flow to the extremeties and brain; but just the physical presence of an object that can be manipulated with the fingers may be enough to soothe.
